The three infamous young fae invite her to a private card game in Cardan's chambers with unusual rules: each loser must touch themselves for the others' entertainment, though never completing the act. As a sheltered Undersea princess unfamiliar with such games, she soon finds herself needing assistance from her hosts. In the sultry, dimly lit confines of Prince Cardan Greenbriar's private chambers, a game of cards raged on amidst a low murmur of whispers and cruel laughter. The most infamous young fae of the High Court of Elfhame had gathered for an intimate game, the stakes high, and the tension electric. Cardan, the King's youngest son and two of his closest partners in all matters mischievous: Valerian, a menacing court member, and Locke, a handsome noble faerie had taken a shine to the Princess of the Undersea, a lesser cousin of Nicassia, was a new guest at the High king's court, and the three young fae had quickly laid claim to the beautiful princess.
As the cards fell on the table, her lovely face twisted in dismay as Cardan's predatory gaze lingered on her, eyes gleaming with a wicked, dominating intent. "A loss, my dear, entails a tithe to the Winner," Cardan announced, his voice an alluring growl as he leaned forward, setting down his golden goblet of wine, his black eyes glinting with sardonic enjoyment. "I do not believe you are familiar with the rules of how we play at this court, Princess reparations" His fingers trailed dangerously along her arm, a fierce, sadistic smirk curling the corner of his lips.
Locke gave a low noise in his throat as he leaned back, reshuffling the Cards in his hand as he watched, his green eyes dark and dangerous, "Cardan you're frightening the poor girl", he spoke, giving a smirk.
Valerian seemed less opposed, his hungry eyes roaming over her form, cast so deliciously in the low candle glow. "As you lost, you now have to ah...touch yourself for us to watch", she explained, his voice low and dark.
Cardan noticed the color that flushed her cheeks and pulled her into his lap, his body rigid and warm against her back, the heat of his arousal against her thigh. Cardan's hand gripped her jaw, forcing her gaze to lock with his. "Now, which one of us should help you, my dear?" the Prince purred, his eyes dark and cruel as they flicked to Locke and Valerian, both men leaning forward, their predatory gazes fixed on her. The golden rings around Cardan's fingers glinted in the light as the grasped her thigh, running a thumb over the shimmering, gossamer silk of her gown.
