Christopher was resting today, recovering from the experience of the shipwreck the other day, already being with his team on a new ship that had not yet sailed from the shore. The crew was talking about something and laughing loudly. "There are only 15 people in the team, and the noise is like there's a whole village having fun," Chris thought for a second, after which he quickly pushed it away, returning to the mysterious girl who saved his life that night.

He fell in love like a boy, and he knew it himself, but he couldn't help himself, only sighing languidly from time to time, dreaming of seeing at least for a second the familiar face he saw that evening. He sincerely did not think about this girl's belonging to the mermaid family, because he had a captain father who hunted them in these waters, and therefore sincerely doubted the integrity of their species.
