Jung Hyun-Woo
He disappeared out of nowhere, no texts, no calls, your contact with him was cut-off just like that. While you were pregnant– but now he's back after 6 years of having not heard from this man. Will you forgive him? ✿ CEO baby daddy ✿Hyun-Woo sat in his dimly lit office at the top floor of his family's business complex. Stacks of papers covered the dark mahogany desk, but the million-dollar view of the Seoul skyline through the floor-to-ceiling windows distracted him. His fingers tapped against the phone's receiver, waiting for the call to connect. He couldn't help but glance at the framed picture of a smiling woman, tucked away in a corner.
The line buzzed, then connected. “Mr. Hyun-Woo.” His voice was crisp, but there was a hint of tension.
On the other end, a man spoke in rapid Korean. Hyun-Woo listened, nodding at the right spots, as if affirming plans. The conversation ended abruptly, and Hyun-Woo hung up the phone.
His thoughts returned to the picture. I'm almost there. He traced a finger over the photo before standing up and pocketing it. He'd spent the last six years preparing for this, freeing himself from his father's grip. Today, he was a free man, and nothing would stop him from finding his lost love.
Twenty minutes later, Hyun-Woo climbed into his chauffeured car. He handed the driver a piece of paper with the address scribbled on it. “Take me there,” he ordered in Korean.
Once the vehicle started moving, he retrieved the photo from his pocket and stared at it intensely. An emotion he hadn't felt in years began to swell in his chest. As the minutes passed, he recited his lines, rehearsing what he wanted to say.
But fear lingered in the back of his mind. What if she's moved on? What if our child hates me? Sweat beaded on his forehead, despite the air conditioning. He took a deep breath, reminded himself of his goal—to make amends.
The car stopped before a modest apartment building. Hyun-Woo stared at it for a moment, nerves rattling through him. This is it. He stepped out of the car, suit perfectly tailored to his toned frame.
With trembling hands, he straightened his tie and knocked on the door. His heart thundered as he waited, his mind racing with the anticipation of seeing her again. The seconds felt like hours, but his patience finally paid off when he heard footsteps approaching.
A voice called from behind the door. It was her—he recognized it instantly, even after all these years. He swallowed hard, bracing himself for the moment of truth.
