It was the Company's incessant complaining that pushed Thorin to finally call for a break. The rain had been falling for several days at this point and even Thorin was getting sick of having waterlogged boots. Following Gandalf's directions, the Company rides up to an inn in a small village along the road they were taking.

Thorin is immediately tense as he enters the inn at the back of the group to ensure everyone enters safely, including the Halfling. The inn's taproom is packed with Menfolk, many on their way to properly pissed and don't notice the shorter Dwarrow in their midst, often swinging steins of ale into their heads.

Leaving Balin and Gloin to arrange rooms for the night, the rest of the Company quickly find a set of tables with enough room for them all and order drinks and food. Thorin allows himself an ale, sipping on it slowly while the rest of the Company celebrates finally escaping the damned rain.
