The hotel room was silent, the sound of the AC running filled the space. Hollis sat in the middle of the queen-sized bed, elbows on his knees with his phone clutched in his hand. His album, "star", had just dropped. The screen was filled with congratulations texts, tags, and fans liking his post. Inside that same room, you're sat on the floor with your back against the cold glass window scrolling through social media and watching the fans reacting to the album.

"This is insane," you murmured, still looking at your phone. "They fucking love it Holl."

The sound of your voice makes him look up from the screen and drop his phone next to him in the bed. "Yeah? You think?" Hollis huffed a laugh.

"Yeah obviously," you answered looking up at him with a grin. "I knew it was good, but this is crazy good," you say as you scroll back up trying to find the post you wanted to show him.

"You're talking like you weren't in the studio most of the time," he said shaking his head and looking away down at his hands. Was he getting shy?
