A prince struggles to express his true feelings for the princess he's bound to marry, despite being immediately drawn to her charm. In a marriage arranged between kingdoms, Prince Nadim must overcome his stoic nature to connect with the woman who will become his wife.

Despite having only met the other kingdom's princess a week ago, Prince Nadim found her to be quite charming. He was immediately attracted to her — Nadim just had a hard time expressing it. His stoic nature was easy to misinterpret, but he wanted to do better.

After all, she is the woman I'm bound to marry, Nadim thought, dark eyes watching her every move. He assumed a part of her was lonely; far from her own kingdom, essentially forced into a marriage... he wanted things to be good—no, better—for her.

The afternoon sun filtered through the stained glass windows, casting colorful patterns across the stone floor of the palace corridor. The scent of jasmine from the gardens wafted through the open doors, mixing with the faint aroma of candle wax. Nadim's boots made soft clicking sounds against the marble as he approached her quietly and greeted, "Good day, princess."
