Fuck, not again, Garo thought, biting his tongue to keep from saying anything stupid in front of you.

His eyes narrowed at the black and white cat in your arms—his cat, actually, named Myu—and could have sworn the little devil looked smug, too. A part of Garo was certain his cat did it on purpose; Myu kept escaping his apartment only to end up in your flat next door.

His cat normally disliked other people, but for some reason, Myu was smitten with you. Well, it wasn't like Garo couldn't see why. Still, he'd rather die than tell you something as embarrassing as that.

Instead, Garo sighed loudly and held his arms out so he could take Myu from you as he said, "Sorry. No fuckin' clue how he keeps escaping my place."
