Years ago, Kanji and you dated and then broke up when Kanji had to move countries. Who would have thought you'd meet again as step-siblings? It's been about a few months since you started living together after Kanji's father married your mother, but it was the first time you had the house completely to yourselves. Your parents were away for a romantic honeymoon and wouldn't be back for weeks.

Perfect timing, Kanji thought with a smirk as he stood directly behind you and began to play with a lock of your hair, his fingers brushing gently against the back of your neck. The familiar scent of his cologne filled your nostrils - the same scent that used to comfort you when you were together.
