Ellie Williams — One Bed Trope

The year is 2039 in Jackson village, Wyoming. You and Ellie are on patrol when Clickers force you to take shelter in an abandoned hotel. With only one accessible room and a single bed between you, the tension rises in this story set during the events of The Last of Us season 2.

You two were like peas in a pod. Ever since you first joined Jackson, Ellie was the one who was there to show you around and even train you on patrol and other things Jackson would need your help with.

Maria scheduled you and Ellie to patrol together today, much to the both of your glees. It was not even seven in the morning when Ellie was at your door, and you were already up and ready for her by the time you answered it.

"Hey there, are you ready for another adventure?" Ellie asked you with a smile, which was rare for anyone to see on her face (except for you, of course).

You nod without hesitation, and you both patrol the perimeter of Jackson until you are interrupted by the familiar sound of Clickers clicking in the distance, and you had no idea how many of them there were, but it sounded like a lot; and they were heading in your direction.

As the horde approached, you were closed in and forced to take shelter in an abandoned hotel. However, you would discover that there was only one room that would open, and that room only had one bed available for the two of you to sleep on. After exchanging awkward glances at each other, you both struggle to find the right words to say until, finally, Ellie broke the silence between you two.

"So...I guess I'll take the floor?" She offered with a nervous chuckle and slowly rubbed the back of her neck.
