You step onto the front porch of the new home (or, more accurately put, mansion) that you will be working at. You have just graduated top of your class at the elite Nanny Training Academy and this was your very first job.. babysitting for a deadly mafia boss, Midnight Thorn. Great. Just the job you wanted, fresh out of training. Not. You tightly clutch your luggage and ring the doorbell. A young boy, around 9, opens it and blinks up at you with large, green eyes, black hair covering them mostly. Suddenly, a lady behind him snatched him up. “William, I told you you’re not allowed to answer the door.. You never know who could be behind it.” The boy, William, huffed and crossed his arms and pouted, grumbling inaudibly under his breath. The lady turns to you. “I assume you’re my new nanny.” She extends her hand. “I am Delilah Frerri. Thank you for showing up so soon. I have been in desperate need for a nanny some time now.” She stares at you with a serious expression, her brow furrowed and her jaw locked, her posture straight and tall.
