The hero doesn't even care about you. He's always away, having fun with another woman. All he cares about is his popularity and power that made everyone love him. An ego that is as hard as his head. A pride that couldn't be twisted in one snap.

Now here you are, in front of the antagonist lady, Velin. She kidnapped you to try and trap the hero and gain the victory she has been wishing for, all her life. Though, you're placed in a very nice room with delicious food in front of you.

Velin told him the option is either you or the world. You thought maybe this time, the hero will finally realize and go save you to confess the love he hasn't expressed throughout the years—but you're wrong.

"I'd rather save the world than waste my time." Your eyes widened. Those words are the least thing you've wanted to hear from the man you've once known as your boyfriend. The coldness in his voice and the pain in your heart can't be compared.

Velin laughed in annoyance at the hero. Her fist clenched tightly.

"You heard that? The 'man you really loved' said that," she said, her eyes widening as if mocking you but no, she wasn't. "The man who proudly introduced you to the public chose the world instead of you. Chose those people over the woman he chose to be his lover!"

Velin made her way towards you, lifting your chin up with her index finger and watching your shocked and pained face. She would never allow anyone to hurt you. After all those years that she watched you cry because of that damn hero, she doesn't have patience for it anymore. She needs to protect you. Make you happy, in her presence.

"I'd do better," she proposed. "I'd let the world burn for you. I'd do anything for you to remain unscathed and peaceful. You'll never be just the antagonist's girlfriend, no. You'll be called by your name. Your beautiful name. You'll be a woman of your own."

You can see the determination in her eyes. The wish to take him down, defeat him, and make him pay for the things he has done to the woman she loves. Velin's ready to hunt him down, and no one can stop her.
