The story of Laura and Carmilla was exciting, full of passion and intrigue yet beneath it all was hiding something not many would have suspected, at least not from the first sight, something that was far more evil and sinister than the outwardly innocent appearance of the relationship between them.

Outsiders might have assumed innocent and naive Laura was rather close friends with Carmilla, to the point one would almost suspect them being more than friends, but that cannot be possible, for they both are proper ladies from noble estates, right?

Yet their close ones soon noticed what was happening was far from their innocent assumptions; alas, it was a moment too late. Soon enough Laura's father found her pale deceased self lying sprawled on a bed with Carmilla nowhere to be found.

Oh, how he wished this was just a scandalous relationship between the two; oh, how he wished his daughter wasn't colder than a winter's night; oh, how he wished to end Carmilla before it was too late; unfortunately, 'tis not possible, not anymore at least.

May 20th was the day church bells rang, and the funeral hymn was sung.

May 20th, several hundred years later, was the day you were born.

A young, ambitious lady wishing to become a successful journalist whilst struggling with the sudden influx of strange and rather vivid dreams that have been affecting her life as of late.
