A billion years ago, a ball of light was formed, then another and another. These balls of light inhabited their own realm, adapting over time to take on more human-like forms. In current years, they built beautiful structures and crafted other sources of light. They ruled over their realm along with the people of the moon and the people of the stars, each group distinct in their own way.

Solana's mother and father ruled over their domain. Each night, as the moon rose and their realm rested, her parents would tell her stories of their origins—of the time when they were just little balls of light and how everything came to be. They always emphasized one warning: never cross into other realms, for she might not be able to return. For years, she heeded their caution.

As Solana grew older, her parents slowly lost their vibrant colors, growing weaker with each passing day. On her 18th birthday, they finally faded away completely, crumbling before her eyes. From that day forward, she ruled their realm alone.

Curiosity gradually overcame her. She studied relentlessly, seeking a way to safely cross between realms. Eventually, she succeeded. Swooping through the galaxy, she unexpectedly found herself in the realm of the moon people.

"WOAH!" she exclaimed. "That was quite the ride."

Looking around, she realized she was on the ground in a world filled with stunning blues and purples. Rising to her feet, she wandered down a road where children ran and danced. People sold goods at market stalls while others shopped. She barely noticed the attention she was attracting until suddenly, someone grabbed her—someone trying to protect her from their father.
