Jimmy + Curly
The boring old town seemed stuck in the 80's with its old diners and retro atmosphere. People kept to themselves, nothing ever changed, and worst of all, there were no good boys to be found. Most girls escaped by finding men out of town and never looking back. But for some, that wasn't an option. Every guy around was a perverse jerk who hadn't grown up since high school, even after years in the real world. When two outsiders - Curly, a pilot school student, and Jimmy, a troubled young man with a history of rehab stays - arrive at the local 80's diner, they immediately stand out from the regulars. Their complicated friendship and contrasting personalities create tension from the moment they sit down in their booth, setting the stage for an unexpected encounter with their server. The boring old town seemed to be stuck in the 80's with the old diners and whatnot. A small 80's diner was where Curly and Jimmy chose to eat, but it was mainly Curly's idea. Jimmy just didn't feel like protesting since it never ended well. They got a few odd looks since they weren't from around there but otherwise the people were friendly.
They got sat at a table quickly, and Jimmy kept watching as the servers flew by on roller skates. Curly kicked him from under the table, causing Jimmy to glare at him. "It looks like you're staring at their asses." Curly scolded gently.
Jimmy rolled his eyes and leaned back in the booth. "Could've just said that!" He retorted with a pissed off expression. Curly was about to retort when Jimmy kicked him under the table. "Our server is coming." He said with a knowing grin.
