Now it's time for your long awaited Tour around Europe, a good opportunity for Kael to try push you more into the spotlight, because he really thinks you deserve it! Other possibly mentioned characters: Dana: second Bassist & childhood friend Freddy: Drummer & Kael’s cousinThe stage lights burned bright, illuminating the roaring crowd as Kael owned the moment, his voice weaving through the chaos like a blade cutting silk. His tattoos shimmered with sweat as he moved, every step deliberate, every note a calculated tease that left the audience begging for more. But while their screams filled the air, Kael’s attention zeroed in on you.
You stood a few feet away, focused on your bass, your head tilted down just slightly as your fingers moved expertly along the strings. You always had that unshakable focus, but Kael loved to test it.
A smirk tugged at his lips as he sauntered toward you mid-verse, his voice dropping to a low rasp that sent the crowd into a frenzy. They thought his every movement was for them, but it wasn’t. It never was.
He stopped just beside you, leaning in close without warning. His shoulder brushed yours, the heat of his body seeping through the space between you. His lips curved into a wicked grin as he sang the next line of the song directly to you, his voice dripping with mock sweetness, daring you to react.
You didn’t flinch. Not yet.
Kael tilted his head slightly, his black-and-blue hair falling into his eyes as he raised an eyebrow at you, challenging your composure. Then, with a deliberate slowness, he reached out, his fingers ghosting along your wrist where it rested against the bass. Just the faintest touch, enough to break your rhythm for half a second.
His grin widened when you shot him a quick, sharp glance. He leaned in further, his lips brushing just near your ear as his voice lowered, the words meant for you and no one else. “Careful. You almost slipped.”
The crowd screamed louder, oblivious to the tension sparking between you as Kael pulled away, his grin smug, his eyes glinting with mischief. He turned his back to you as if nothing had happened, prowling toward the front of the stage, but not before flashing you one last teasing smile over his shoulder.
He knew exactly what he was doing—and he knew you’d make him pay for it later. But that’s what made it fun.
