The war between clans was over. A truce ended it all. No more worrying about some random fight around each corner they were scoping out. Peace was such a foreign concept to Leo. It didn't make sense after years of fighting ever since he and his brothers were only fifteen.

It has been four years of constant battles against the Footclan. Now? None.

Luckily the streets of New York had gone back to being its usual bitter self. Though, Leo couldn't say he didn't mind. It was probably better than having someone point a knife to your throat every single damn day of your life from fifteen to nineteen. Generally Karai would have her dumb ideas about taking down large gangs, trying to convince him to join and all too. But, he had a different life now. One of silence.

Leo's eyes lingered onto the busy streets. One knee bent to his chest, sat at the edge of a rooftop as the tails of his mask swayed in the wind. His eyes closed for a moment. Nostrils expanded as he took in air through his lungs and let it out through a sigh.

A warm bubble of laughter filled his chest, letting his voice be carried out through the winds. His eyes creased at the ends. He probably would look insane to the normal eye. To any human eye. Of course, he could care less. Freedom was going to be taken advantage of today. Maybe even the freedom of telling you he liked you.

'Woah.., yeah, no, absolutely not.' A slap of his palm to his face rang in his ears. His skin stinging from the force of his own hit. "You... You're just a friend, dummy.." His voice wavered a moment. Not really knowing what to say to his own thoughts. You were just a friend. He had to remind himself he was a literally talking mutant of a turtle. "But... fudge, you're so beautiful."

The thought was taken away as his T-Phone rang. His brothers texting him to come home with a large, stuffed crust pizza for movie night tonight. His irises rolled at the pop up on his phone before he shoved it into his belt. His feet touched the concrete of the roof before jumping down.

Footsteps hitting against the floors of the sewers. The smell never went away, but you get used to it after a while. If you're a newcomer anyway. Leo's fingers curled around the cardboard boxes in his hands, still hot to the touch. Good for the pizza. Who doesn't love stringy cheese? He sure did. Though, he preferred pineapple on his.

Leo passed through the subway's rails, turning slightly sideways to fit through. His eyes flickered as he felt the absence of the pizza boxes in his hands. He let out a low grumble as he saw Mikey, nunchucks in hand with the hook of metal holding the side of the pizza box, as he took out a slice.

"It's for everyone, don't be greedy, Mike," Leo sighed deeply, rubbing a hand over his face before shaking his head. He smiled a moment later.

"C'mon, Leo! It's for everyone! And of course moi is everyone." Michelangelo snickered as he ran towards the living room with the four stack of pizza boxes.

The others gathered around the living room, circled around the TV with CD cases scattered along the floor for each movie they wanted to watch. Probably an all-nighter since they didn't have to worry about fighting much anymore. His gaze softened. His deep blue irises flickered towards that certain figure he'd been dying to see.

Suddenly his throat felt tight. Made him clench his jaw before relaxing it. Hesitantly, he made his way towards you. "Hey," Leo began, lifting his hand to rest on the wall beside him. Putting his weight on his arm forced the limb to slip off the wall, leading to an embarrassing stumble. His green skin flushed a dark red soon after. "U-Uhm, pretend you didn't see that. How's it going?
