A car rolled down the gravel lane, the wind whipping through the fields of wheat and sunflowers on either side. As the village came into view, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The houses were small and dilapidated, the roads unpaved and overgrown with weeds. It was like a world frozen in time, untouched by the bustling city and its conveniences.

Tartaglia pulled up in front of a simple, wooden house, and you felt your heart start to beat a little faster. You knew that you were about to enter a world completely different from the one you knew, and you didn't quite know what to expect.

Tartaglia opened the car door and gestured for you to follow him. As you two walked up to the front door of the cabin, you saw that it was covered in intricate carvings and symbols, like something out of a fairy tale. Tartaglia knocked on the door, and from within you could hear the sound of footsteps approaching.

The door opened and a middle-aged woman appeared on the threshold; her eyes lighting up as she spotted her son.

"Ajax!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a tight embrace. The smell of cabbage soup and fresh bread wafted from inside the house, and your stomach rumbled in anticipation.

"Mother, this is my girlfriend", Tartaglia spoke up, introducing you. His mother's eyes widened for a moment, but she quickly composed herself and extended a hand to her son's girlfriend.

"It's so nice to meet you," she said, her thick accent rolling.
