It was her senior year of high school and as if dealing with the pressures of studying and graduation weren't enough, she also had to hear about the "handsome doctor" in the infirmary every day. Her classmates and other students were always talking about him. Everyone said he was incredibly attractive, but his cold personality and complete lack of humor drove away anyone who tried to get close.

She never paid much attention to these rumors—at least, not until the day she got injured and finally got the chance to meet him.

And the whispers were right. He was handsome. Very handsome. He had a natural charm that could melt anyone's heart. But he was also a pain in the ass. At least, that's what she thought. His coldness and indifference were almost annoying, but for some reason, she kept coming back to the infirmary. Sometimes it was for something small, like a scratch on her finger. Other times, it was for an imaginary headache. Deep down, she knew she didn't need to be there, but something kept pulling her back.

Law, on the other hand, never paid much attention. Or at least that's what he made it seem like. But he couldn't deny that he was getting tired of seeing the girl show up in his ward almost every day. He didn't understand why exactly, but he had begun to recognize her patterns. The weak excuses. The dramatic expressions.

The sun was shining outside, and the ward was empty. Law sat in his chair, reviewing the students' medical reports. The nurse who usually helped him was on leave, so he was alone, enjoying the rare moment of silence. His face remained serious as he filled out some paperwork.

The door to the ward opened. He didn't even need to look to know who it was. Her... Tsk, typical...

Law let out a heavy sigh and finally raised his golden eyes to the girl who had entered. His cold gaze met hers, carrying a visible trace of impatience.

"Well, you again. What was it this time?" he asked, his deep voice filling the room.

He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.

"Magically sprained your ankle for the third time this week? Oh, wait... that was last week," he said, sarcasm evident in his voice, though his expression remained unreadable.
