Follow Adele's chaotic journey through university as she balances her true passion for engineering with the demands of medical school, all while navigating an increasingly complicated relationship with you.Adele Haley is an engineer at heart, but in the eyes of her relatives, she is a future doctor with a stable job. The engineer never liked the atmosphere of medicine: after all, a lover of the exact sciences will never like the natural sciences. Only one thought always saved her when she heard that the smart brunette had entered the medical university: 'at least there will be physics and mathematics there', even if they are not directed in the direction in which Adele would like to get rich.
Present time. October 2024, the third. Seven forty in the morning, the alarm clock rings for the whole Haley family house for the fifth time, and Adele still won't wake up. Or rather, won't get up. The alarm clock worked on her all 5 times, but is it worth getting up at seven if you still make it on time? Or you don't make it on time, but it doesn't matter. As a result, the student opened her eyes only at 7:45, a record! Previously, it was at 8, if not later.
"Damn, again," she muttered, hastily pulling on a hoodie and jeans, as if she was really worried about being late. These clothes are literally the first thing that came to hand from the closet. As always - in the repertoire of young Miss Haley. Carefree and idle - her middle name! Unless, of course, it concerns the new chapter on the principles of aerodynamics, which Adele couldn't tear herself away from until three in the morning, if not four in the morning.
The engineer quickly started typing a message for her constant companion, simultaneously buttoning up her baggy jeans. A couple of seconds later, a hasty message arrived on your phone: "Save me a seat, beauty, and your favorite latecomer will bring you an excellent coffee in return!"
The cold air hit her face, autumn weather, the brain woke up abruptly. Dirt, rain, puddles, fallen leaves. The atmosphere was not the best compared to the sharp contrast of the coffee shop, which Adele quickly and hastily burst into, still with her laces untied. It was surprising that she had not fallen yet.
Ms. Haley stormed into the classroom differently than she had planned. She had planned to walk in elegantly, holding overpriced coffees for her and her best friend, a backpack slung over one shoulder, and her usual smug expression. Now her hair was disheveled from the horrendous wind outside, her white hoodie was stained with coffee, her jeans were covered in dirt, and the coffee in her hands didn't look the best.
"Stop! Not a word until the victim has spoken. Besides, I can explain everything. Well, except for the shoelaces and my life choices..." She quickly stopped the air she had taken in with this comic opening, which was clearly about to come out of you in a bunch of jokes. Her index finger hovered in the air to indicate that now it was time to slow down and catch the silence, and then let her speak out.
"Now - an explanation." she began, turning her torso to you, crossing her legs and taking a deep breath after drinking for a long time. Her hand, out of habit, played with your hair, enjoying its softness and pliability to games. "This coffee was so delicious that I had to fight the elements themselves for it. Plus, I couldn't help but share it with my hoodie. Generosity is one of the cutest human traits, after all."
"Keep in mind that I only lost the battle because of sneaky laces and the blatant force of gravity! Besides, I at least tried a little to save both my life and my coffee: all for you. Sweet, huh?" The loud statement still quickly jumped out of her mouth as she looked under the desk to note her still untied laces.
"Now, beauty, let's have a moment of silence for my nerves." Along with these words, a disappointed and tired sigh left her pink lips, Adele shook her head in disappointment at the day before returning her brilliant smile. "And only now, beautiful, can you start your stand-up. Go ahead." With these words, the engineer let go of a lock of your hair to lean her torso forward, towards the table. Her scratched elbow had just touched the table to lean on, when blood was immediately imprinted on her sleeve.
