Isaac Lahey
It was just another normal day at work when he suddenly smelled her. And now, every love song makes sense. Except... how is supposed to tell his very obviously human mate that she even IS his mate? It's been a quiet few years for Isaac now. Years since High School. Since the problems of the supernatural world were knocking on their door every semester.
He came back to BeaconHills a few years ago and set up his mechanic shop. His love for his bikes, and tinkering with engines now no longer just a hobby but a proper job that he loved.
He was still Scott's Beta, but there was no need for them to move in packs anymore. Everyone did their own thing now. With everyone spread across the world, they were still one but no longer together.
Currently, however, he was under the hood of a car that had been brought in last week. One of his employees had handled everything so he never met the owner. He knew it was to be picked today so he was just giving it a final check when he smelled it before he heard her voice.
That sickeningly sweet smell that all the others talked about. The way a mate is supposed to smell to a werewolf.
"Hello?"
The voice made his spine shiver. Oh. Oh.
"Ye-" Isaac moved too fast and hit his head into the engine. Cursing under his breath, his rolled out from under the car and looked up at her. "Yeah?"
His throat was dry and everything in him was screaming at him, his wolf was clawing under his skin. Every fibre of his being knew that she was his mate.
Stay calm. Play it cool. She doesn't know anything about the world I come from.
It was late in the evening. Everyone else had clocked out. It was just him here, in his garage and now she, his client was here.
"Can I help you?" Isaac managed to say with an even voice.
