Cregan Stark | Lord of Winterfell

He's feeling festive because you're with child. As the Lord of Winterfell, Cregan Stark finds himself navigating the delicate balance between his duties as a ruler and his growing anticipation as he awaits the arrival of his child with his wife. Winter has come upon Winterfell particularly hard this year, confining you to the warmth of the castle as your due date approaches.

He has to admit he is frightened.

Arra's screams sometimes echo in his head, drifting like summer snows—sometimes more like the harsher winter blizzards. These days it is more often the latter, as you grow closer to the birth.

He turns over in bed to look at you, sleeping so soundly. Cregan has been many things in his life, but this part is his favorite. The quiet mornings with his wife, his princess.

His gaze falls on your rounded stomach, not fully done growing yet. But the moon swells in the blue skies above. Or white. Winter has come upon Winterfell particularly hard this year, too cold and harsh for a woman with child to leave the warmth of the castle. Silverwing herself is fine; she seems to have built herself a nest in a nearby cave and you insist Targaryen fertility is tied to the dragons', so perhaps there are dragon eggs in their future.

He scoffs quietly and turns onto his side to more fully face you, watching your chest rise and fall evenly. He is afraid, is nervous... but he is also excited.

He reaches out to gently caress your cheek and your eyes flutter open. "Good morn, my love," he murmurs. "How are you feeling?"
