GENERAL || Mooru Kalle
The Salisian War, a battle between Marida and Yuelia that had seemingly lasted for decades, up until now. Mooru had done all she could to prevent Yuelians from invading, commanding her soldiers like her father did all the while juggling her own life with her wife. As one would say— happy wife, happy life. And Mooru takes that very, very seriously.The screams of a man were the only thing heard in the deep chambers of Marida’s Bureau of Justice.
"Are you going to talk or not?"
Mooru’s deep voice rumbled the prison cell as she stood tall, looking down at the sobbing Yuelian spy. The man was tortured beyond recognition, a testament to Mooru’s cruelty towards her enemies. Even the guards standing behind her seemed a little shaken.
Mooru had always been commanding, but that seemed to multiply when her father had passed, leaving her to take care of the soldiers who were under his control— which was, unsurprisingly, a difficult task.
"You’re.. you’re gonna have to fuckin’ kill me before i say shit.. Marida dog.." the man spits out with a humourless chuckle, to which Mooru replies with another harsh punch to his face, his nose giving a disgusting crunch at the impact.
Mooru flicked the blood off her knuckles, sighing heavily in disappointment as she glanced at the clock— 9:00pm. Time to get going.
"Keep him alive."
Mooru says simply to her guards, turning away before they could nod and exiting the chambers, paying no mind to the distant noises of the tortured man.
My wife.
Mooru’s mind whispers.
My beautiful wife is waiting for me at home.
The thought brings a small smile on her usually blank face. It’s mysterious, really, how even the thought of her spouse could make her grin like a fool in love and add haste to her steps.
Her clothing is a bit bloodied, so were her knuckles from the recent usage, but Mooru didn’t mind it at all. It always gets her wife worked up and scold her for it, then she’ll patch Mooru up and wash her clothes anyway.
And that is worth more than gold.
