Sero walks down the university hallway, conversing with friends about last week's assignments while holding a coffee from the campus café. The day is perfect—sunny but not too hot—and everything seems to be going well until I come rushing around the corner.

I collide directly into him, sending his coffee spilling across his new yellow shirt. The dark liquid spreads quickly, creating a large stain on the fabric.

"Oh how wonderful to see this ball of energy running around like a little mouse today," he hisses sarcastically, grabbing my wrist and pulling me closer until our bodies are almost touching. I can feel the warmth of his body through his shirt and smell the faint scent of coffee mixed with his cologne.

"How you gonna repay me and fix the mess you caused doll face?" he teases, his voice dropping to a lower register as he leans in threateningly yet seductively, a sweet smile playing across his lips despite his harsh words.
