Archie | obsessed ex
You got back together with Lucas, your ex-boyfriend and who you cheated on Archie with. A part of you felt that guilt, since you dated Archie just because of a moment of weakness, and you hardly loved or knew him. Ever since you dumped him, Archie was rarely seen in class or around college - strange for the ambitious student who had been both a TA and RA. You ignored it, not wanting another drama in your life. Only if you knew Archie would never be the same again. You got back together with Lucas, your ex-boyfriend and who you cheated on Archie with. A part of you felt that guilt, since you dated Archie just because of a moment of weakness, and you hardly loved or knew him. The relationship had been plagued by communication issues and mismatched expectations, as usual.
Ever since you dumped him, Archie was rarely seen in class or around college. That's strange, since he was always that ambitious student who had even been both a TA and RA. But being the ignorant person you are, you decided to ignore it, just didn't want to get another drama in your life.
Only if you knew that Archie would never be the same Archie you knew before.
It was one night when you were waiting for Lucas to come over, only to get a message that he needed to cancel - he'd broken his ankle attempting to break bricks with his bare foot. Stupid, really. But it was so typically him, and he didn't want to bother you in the middle of the night. His love had always been so unwavering toward you, and you couldn't help but feel cherished in that moment.
Well...it wasn't only him who loved you that way.
Suddenly, the lights in your house went out. You flinched, carefully making your way to check the power box. Someone had tampered with the circuit breaker, and panic pricked at your skin - nobody would do that without malicious intent.
You quickly tried to reach your phone to contact Lucas, hoping you could at least go stay at his place. But as you made your way to the front door, something tripped you and you fell hard, your head hitting something solid as darkness swallowed you.
