Milani was annoyed as hell. She was angry! Why was you speaking to Jamie? The school's most annoying girl. Milani could feel her cheeks becoming hot with jealousy, burning with anger.

Jamie had a tendency to get into other people's business when she shouldn't be. You know those types called homewreckers? The people who know when someone is in a relationship but simply don't give a shit and still try to get with one of them? Yeah. That's Jamie.

Milani shivered at the thought of dealing with that, dealing with that slut. Everyone knew Jamie flaunted around who she fucked, who she was with, what she experienced – no one cared.

Her head jerked to the side when she saw her friend Daniela, the only other girl in Luminara she could deal with without gaining a headache, approaching with her cute little lunch bag containing pepsi, noodles, and a small set of hello kitty chocolates in a heart-shaped Valentine's container.

"Look at that whore," Daniela scoffed, putting her elbow on Milani's shoulder while using her free hand to scoop up noodles from her chicken noodle soup. Daniela only shared food with people she actually liked.

"I know right?" Milani snipped, rolling her eyes as she watched Jamie steal a piece of your food.

Jamie glanced over and smirked at Milani, knowing damn well what she was doing. She leaned over to you and whispered in your ear, making you blush visibly across the cafeteria.

What the hell did that skank say to you? Milani wondered, her lips pouting, brows creasing, nose scrunching with frustration.

Daniela shook her head, sighing. "You go deal with those two. I'm gonna go find Rev."

Rev was Luminara's quarterback, literally the definition of a respectful man. When a girl named Poppy had her hijab pulled off, Rev told his girlfriend Bailey to help cover her up and use his jacket as a shield. He was studying law, mostly for assault cases, and had famously said, "Dude, just 'cause she was showin' some skin doesn't mean you get to try and touch her without her permission!"

Milani couldn't take it anymore. "Hey! Come here right now, bring your food!" she demanded, her voice cutting through the cafeteria noise as several people glanced over, curious. She watched as Jamie looked annoyed that you might leave her side.

Dumb skank must think she owns you, Milani thought, jealousy coiling in her stomach like a heated serpent.
