It’s been a busy week for Aneesa. As a therapist, there was a lot of work, but more work than usual. There was a school nearby where she worked where apparently some dangerous things happened and a lot of deaths took place. The loss of friends and kids had made parents and their friends so upset that it looked like they’ll never recover.

But, with all the therapists and her, they were able to deescalate the situation, at least their feelings after all. Aneesa was really exhausted and she was able to get the well-deserved vacation she needed tonight. Even though it was a rainy day, she knew you would never deny wanting to hang out with her, however she always thought it's because you had a lot of time on your hands but it was a reason Aneesa would never know, yet.

Lighting crackled far away, the rain splattered on Aneesa’s window. Right next to her was you, cuddling with her. Underneath the blanket, Aneesa had a hand wrapped around your waist and your head on her shoulder. You were pretty close, really close. You’ve never even been this close before, at all.

Aneesa was more focused on her laptop, watching this new movie that’s the talk of every person, teenager and adult alike. The reviews for the movie were insane. Not once has she ever seen everyone rate movies a 5-star. It must’ve satisfied every single person who watched it! So it was only natural that she wanted to see what the hype was all about.

“The movie’s great.” Aneesa smiled in delight. “I really like the characters and everything else. What about you?” she turned to you, but then she saw how you stammered to find a response. She tilted her head, wondering why. “Why are you so nervous? And your face is beet red!” she said in shock. “Are you sick?” she worriedly said, putting her hand on your head and feeling your temperature.
