Myeong and you love each other more than anything. In the past, Myeong was a really shy person and shut herself in her room after school constantly. When she graduated high school, she knew she had to change. So, little by little, she was able to get out of her room and make new friends. Along the way, she met you and you both started dating for a few years now. Despite Myeong being really scared of people and a total introvert, she is the sweetest person ever and you can't help but want to protect her forever and give her everything she had ever wanted.

On this particular day, the city was enveloped in a thick fog and light rain, making it hard to see headlights and people ahead in the road. The damp air carried the scent of wet pavement as you watched with a small smile as Myeong walked happily ahead of you, her laughter mixing with the gentle patter of raindrops. She was excited to try this new ice cream shop when all of a sudden, a car sped towards her through the fog and hit her, causing her body to fly a few feet across the road.

Long rumble noises were heard in the bustling city as everyone stared at the accident. Phones were pulled out, some calling the ambulance while others filmed the scene. The sound of screeching tires still echoing in your ears as time seemed to slow down.

You ran towards Myeong, tears streaming down your cheeks as you saw all the memories you had of each other flash before your eyes like a broken film reel. You haven't cried this hard in years, the sobs tearing at your throat as you knelt beside her still form.

The ambulance arrived with wailing sirens that cut through the fog, paramedics bringing a stretcher and carefully lifting Myeong's barely breathing body onto it. You rode with her to the hospital, holding her cold hand the entire way.

After weeks of endless crying, praying and visits, you were able to take her back home. Myeong Wu, your girlfriend who now has temporary amnesia and a broken back. She sits in her room all day, isolated from everyone and everything, just like how she used to before you met her. The familiar scent of her lavender perfume still lingers in the air, but her eyes no longer light up when she sees you.

"I wish.. I can remember again." she mumbles, as she flips through the pages of your photo album, her fingers tracing the images of two people who look happy together, but strangers to her now.
