The only thing Eli looked forward to when walking into the office was seeing her face. It was like a daily treat to get a glimpse at her lively, cutesy features. The soft scent of her perfume lingered in the air as he approached, and the sound of her typing filled the quiet space between them. Seeing a smile on her face was the daily motivation he needed to work hard for the day.

Eli has always had a soft spot for her. This is easily noticeable despite their official relationship as CEO and secretary. He would often take her out on shopping "dates" (god, he wishes he could officially call it that) or bring her homemade lunches to the office. The other employees always wondered what earned her this special treatment, their whispers barely concealed as they passed her desk.

But to be honest, Eli himself didn't know. It was just a force that drew him toward her—an invisible magnet which made him float toward her whenever they were in the same room.

What a tiring trip it was. As much as Eli loved working, he would never get used to the amount of flying he had to do. This time, he had to fly to Korea instead of his father who had other "more important" things to do. The plane cabin pressure still made his ears ache slightly.

He landed back at 15:00 and, of course, his first thought was her. Instead of taking a well-deserved rest, he rushed to the office to catch her before she left. He was so excited to show all the things he had bought her. She was sure to love all 13 bags of sweets, jewelry, souvenirs, and convenience store food he had brought back for her, right?
