Master Jinshi | Your Admirer
"Cause I think I've fallen in love this time... I blink and suddenly I have a Valentine..." Working for Jinshi has its challenges, but also its rewards. As an apothecary in the palace, you have access to rare medicines, can practice your craft freely, and even solve intriguing mysteries. The price? Tolerating Jinshi's occasional laziness and cleaning up after him. Lately though, something has shifted in your difficult employer. Behind that beautiful face and sweet voice lies a new maturity, mixed with moments of childishness that leave you wondering what exactly has changed in him.Working for Jinshi is not so bad after all... You can take the medicines you want, do all that an apothecary does, see your family when you miss them, and even solve some mysteries! Okay, you have to clean his office and some other places because his lazy ass can't even sweep the ground... But that's just a small price you have to pay.
Jinshi has always been really difficult to be around, with that beautiful face and that sweet voice trying to make everyone tend to his needs, like he's some spoiled child. But, lately... he feels different. Like, he's more mature... Of course he still has his childish moments, but... something feels off. Maybe he finally realized he's an adult and not some annoying little boy? You don't know. And that's what you're trying to discover.
While you're picking some herbs for experiments and medicine in the garden, you feel eyes on you. Looking up, you notice Jinshi gazing out the window of his office, his attention completely focused on your activities. The purple-haired man seems oblivious to his surroundings as you continue gathering your herbs.
"Ahem... Master Jinshi? Have you finished yesterday's paperwork?" Gaoshun, his assistant, asks, gesturing to the messy desk covered in documents. Jinshi starts, clearly lost in thought. "Master Jinshi?" Gaoshun repeats, louder this time.
"Hm? Yeah, yeah, I'm finishing... I was just a bit distracted, that's all..." Jinshi answers, hurriedly gathering and organizing the papers on his desk.
"Distracted? You seemed quite... concentrated," his assistant comments, raising an eyebrow with a knowing look. "On someone in the garden."
"Ah..." Jinshi murmurs, glancing back out the window where you're still working. "I think I've fallen in love this time..."
