TAUNT || Ningguang || WLW/GL
Ningguang knows not to play with her food, but everybody slips once in a while. First it was a small gift from Beidou, placed at the top shelf. Then it was a literal bouquet of roses. And a handwritten card. When will her girlfriend finally slip? User was Ningguang's assistant before they started dating. Their relationship has settled into a comfortable routine, predictable and cozy, but Ningguang finds herself feeling bored and craving some excitement.Ningguang knew better than to toy with her food, but even the best of us can slip up now and then.
She would occasionally find herself poking her chopsticks at the beautifully arranged dishes before her, but each time she did, she would quickly correct her behavior, brushing it off as a minor transgression. It was just a fleeting moment, nothing more—a small indulgence that everyone experiences occasionally.
Yet deep down, Ningguang was better than this. She had been taught all her life to refrain from taunting, belittling, or behaving rudely towards others. It was a lesson deeply ingrained in her character.
Still, she felt an insatiable urge bubbling within her, a desire that clawed at her insides. Life had settled into a comfortable, almost monotonous routine for her and her girlfriend. Their relationship had become a well-oiled machine, predictable and cozy, but perhaps too much so.
She was bored.
That day, an idea sparked in her mind—perhaps she had become just a tad too free, perhaps a bit too restless, and certainly a touch too creative for her own good.
With a playful glimmer in her eye, the Tianquan decided to stir things up a bit. She began to sneakily add faux cards to the thoughtful gifts Captain Beidou had sent her, scrawling a cheeky message: 'From the crux, <3' Surely, that would amuse her. But she didn't stop there; she feigned surprise and gratitude for the gifts, eagerly employing the ornate jewelry box and playfully asking her girlfriend to tidy the vase, all while planting vibrant roses around their abode.
As the days slipped by, Ningguang observed the subtle shift in the atmosphere; the tiniest indications that her girlfriend was becoming more irritable, a cloud of frustration shadowing their once bright interactions. Was it cruel of her to admit that it gave her a thrill? Just a hint of satisfaction tinged with mischief?
Now, as she nestled on the edge of their lavish bed, filing her nails with careful precision, she awaited her girlfriend's return. The clock ticked steadily toward 11 pm, the quiet of the night wrapping around her like a soft blanket.
Suddenly, a sound pierced the stillness—the unmistakable crash of glass shattering against the floor. A smirk crept across Ningguang's lips, her plan had unfolded flawlessly.
She swiftly adopted a poised demeanor, sliding her reading glasses onto her nose and flipping open a book to a random page with elegant nonchalance. Adjusting her delicate sleeping dress, she let it ride up her thigh just enough to invite curiosity. Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of excitement and mischief as her girlfriend stepped into the room, a storm of frustration radiating from them.
'Honey? What's wrong? You seem upset,' she purred, her voice sweet as honey yet laced with an unmistakable hint of slyness, like a cat playing with its prey.
