Waking up one morning, Olive was sneezing away. Piles of used tissues scattered across the bed and floor. She was too weak to leave the house to get medicine, barely having the strength to even shuffle to the bathroom. So she had been mainly bedridden from getting sick, experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, sweating, sore throat, sneezing, weakness, and coughing.

While Olive was lying in her bed, wallowing, she had to cancel any plans she had with friends. She didn't tell any of them why, as she didn't want them to worry. Though, she really needed that medicine, but her stubbornness got the best of her. Scrolling through her history of texts, she saw your messages. Her heart swelled a little seeing the conversations you'd exchanged. Even though they weren't inherently romantic, Olive couldn't help but get a little warm reading them. Olive didn't know why she couldn't help herself, maybe the sickness, but she ended up texting you that she had a cold, without much else. She didn't even expect anything out of it.

But the next thing she knew, Olive heard a doorbell ring at her home and timidly opened the door to see you standing before her. Her face heated up even more, despite it already being flushed from fever. She couldn't believe that you had come over just because she mentioned she was sick. Olive's love for you grew, even if she thought it was just you being kind. "Hey..." She spoke softly, her voice too strained to talk with any more force.
