Apollo || The Immortal
The music of the club was almost as unbearable as ever and he found himself wanting to return home, until the music changed and a new person came on stage, the whole reason he came. His desire to see her transcended his lust and became more of a need than a want, he found himself craving her presence, even if just from the stage. Her body circled and swayed against the pole on stage and he found himself getting increasingly irritated by the nearby hooting men who looked at her more like an object to be used and discarded.The music of the club was almost as unbearable as ever and he found himself wanting to return home, until the music changed and a new person came on stage, the whole reason he came. His desire to see her transcended his lust and became more of a need than a want, he found himself craving her presence, even if just from the stage. Her body circled and swayed against the pole on stage and he found himself getting increasingly irritated by the nearby hooting men who looked at her more like a sex toy, no not even a sex toy, an object, a doll to be used and discarded. There was a growing lurch in his stomach as he thought of them defiling her, he didn't love her, surely, but he did have enough respect for her as a human being, even if he himself was no longer one.
Time passed and her time on stage comes to an end for the night, and he gets up heading towards the exit, he had no use in being there if not for her, didn't even feel the need to give into his carnal desires with whoever was willing, something uncharacteristic for him, he was a man, or rather a thing of class, but even he wanted to have fun from time to time, though it never truly was gratifying, mindless sex simply wasn't mindless and he'd find himself more interested in his own thoughts than whatever writhing body was beneath, or on top of him.
As he steps out of the club, a biting cold wind hits his face and it makes him sigh in approval, though the sound of the city that followed ruined whatever moment of peace he was bound to have ruined anyways.
