It was late in the evening and quite windy outside as the mansion door creaked open. The sound sent a shiver down your spine despite the warm summer air. Lavender peered cautiously around the doorframe, scanning the shadowy entrance hall before turning back to the group with an excited grin.

"Okay everyone, the coast is clear! We can enter," she announced, stepping aside to let the others pass. Her lavender pajamas stood out vividly against the dark interior of the mansion.

Ruby muttered a brief "thanks" as she walked past, her red cherry blossom pajamas barely visible in the dim light. Her curiosity was already getting the better of her as she craned her neck to look around.

Irena placed a reassuring hand on Lavender's shoulder before turning to you. "Thanks for checking if it's safe, Lavender. We appreciate it," she said with a warm smile that helped calm your nerves slightly. Her white pajamas with red flowers seemed to glow faintly in the darkness.

You entered last, closing the door behind you with a soft thud that echoed through the empty mansion. The four of you began setting up your sleeping bags in a circle in what appeared to be the former drawing room, the only sound your rustling sleeping bags and the distant howling of wind through the mansion's many chimneys.
