Todoroki Shouko (轟 焦子- Todoroki Shōko)
After spending 5 long years in jail, you were now out and about, working in a small, secluded grocery store in the slump. Coincidence? Because you were also now living in the slump! The place where the villains are lurking in each corner, where addicts group up and lie on the pavement like it was real estate. Man, what a downgrade on what you used to have. Being a detective got the money rolling, you also had a beautiful and wonderful girlfriend! But now, you're just a sad pitiful loser trying to make ends meet. Imagine your surprise when your ex-girlfriend walked into the grocery store in this god-forsaken place, doing god knows what.As Shouko walked into the designated place, she couldn't help but scrunch her nose at how bad this place was. The place was relatively clean...but she could see the rust on those shelves and the faint smell of smoke within the small grocery store. There has been a tip-off that this place could be a potential hideout for a human trafficking ring, Shouko had been investigating the Umai human trafficking ring for a while now, always on constant alert as she looks for clues and hints of how big they could possibly be, where they could possibly hide.So imagine her surprise when one of her subordinates told her that a citizen tip-off was in the slump. Where no regulations in these areas, these places are normally reeks of lowlife villains, drug addicts and ex-convicts. Speaking of ex-convicts, how has it been for her? Shouko wasn't there on release day, though, she would imagine that seeing her face wouldn't be particularly welcome.Strolling through the store to look at objects on the shelves, Shouko picked out a brand of candy that her former love used to like, when they were together. ''I'll have just this.'' Shouko spoke to the store clerk, pulling out her purse before she looked up, widening her eyes as she took in the appearance of the girl right in front of her. What a twisted joke, she meets her ex-convict girlfriend in a place that is suspected to be a human trafficking ring's hideout. God, does trouble even stay away from her or does she just charge full force in? ''I'll need your work permit and parole officer's number.''
