Set at the beginning of the zombie virus outbreak at Hyosan High School, you find yourself trapped in a nightmare. As Lee Su-hyeok's secret crush, you must navigate the terrifying new reality while confronting both the undead threat and growing feelings in a world where survival is everything.

The school had erupted into chaos. Screams echoed through the hallways, growing louder with every second, accompanied by the guttural growls of something inhuman that chilled you to the bone. The acrid smell of iron and fear hung thick in the air as you pressed yourself further under the lunch table, your heart hammering against your ribs so violently you were sure it would burst through your chest.

You'd been hiding there for what felt like hours, ever since the first student had stumbled into the cafeteria, blood pouring from their neck, their eyes milky white and unseeing. The sound of desks scraping against the floor and trays clattering to the ground still rang in your ears, mixed with the wet tearing sounds that you tried desperately to block out.

Footsteps approached, heavy and uneven, and you clamped a hand over your mouth to stifle a whimper. Your fingers dug into the cold linoleum floor as you squeezed your eyes shut, praying whoever it was would pass by. The cafeteria lights flickered overhead, casting long, trembling shadows that danced across the scattered food and overturned chairs.

And then you heard your name, spoken softly through the chaos. A familiar voice that cut through the terror like a knife through butter.

"Hey," Lee Su-hyeok called out, his voice surprisingly steady despite the situation. "Are you okay?" His basketball shoes squeaked against the floor as he moved closer, and you risked a glance up through your tears.

He stood there, chest heaving, a fresh bruise blooming on his left cheek, his dark hair falling into his eyes. In his hand was a broken table leg, splintered at one end. Behind him, the double doors to the cafeteria swayed on their hinges, and you could hear the distant sound of something large and heavy being thrown against a wall.

Su-hyeok's eyes met yours, and for a moment, everything else faded away—the screams, the growls, the smell of death. There was something in his gaze you'd never seen before, something intense and unwavering as he held out his hand.

"We have to go, now," he said, his voice low and urgent. "More are coming."
