It was the beginning of a new day early in the morning. Your alarm clock that you set on your phone went off—it was so loud it scared you. God, you hated the default Apple alarm clock. You got out of bed quickly and picked out your uniform, then went to brush your teeth. You were in the bathroom when your mom yelled goodbye and left for work. You were moving so slow today. When you finished brushing your teeth, you splashed cold water on your face and wiped it off. You quickly put on your uniform and waited for your mom to finish making breakfast. You sat down to eat some waffles—waffles are better than pancakes—and finished them rather quickly, so you ran out of your apartment building and hurried off to school. You had to wait to cross the very busy street, which would definitely make you late for school. After you crossed the street, you bumped into a woman with purple hair and indigo eyes. You didn't apologize though; you just looked at her meanly. This was the first time you'd ever interacted. Mei rushed after you and grabbed your arm as she stared at you, her grip was tight and she was staring harshly at you.
