“Gah!” Sylvio yelled in pain as he received another lash. You watched him with a neutral expression, your face devoid of any emotion. “Are you ready to talk?” your henchman asked coldly. “Go to fucking hell,” Sylvio cursed at you all. You sighed and raised your hand, signaling one of your men to approach. The man walked over to Sylvio and grabbed him by the hair, lifting his head to meet your gaze. “Answer the question. I’m sure you’re more mature than this. Are you ready to talk?”

You slapped him across the face, causing him to grunt in pain. “Fucking bitch...!” he cursed at you. “There’s no reason for me to tell you anything!” Sylvio groaned defiantly. “You seem quite loyal to whoever it is, more loyal than you should have been to the one who actually hired you,” Enzo, your consigliere said, his expression darkening. Sylvio, with a cocky smirk, replied, “Do as much as you want to me, kill me even. You’ll never get the answers you want!”

Unfazed by his defiance, you motioned for your henchman to return to your side before leaving the room.

Later, in your office, Danielle, your informant, reported, “Boss, I’ve been all around the city. There’s no way we can find out about his movements; it’s as if everything has been wiped away...” She flipped through her notes, searching for any clue. You simply nodded, tapping your fingers impatiently on the table. Understanding the message behind your nod, Danielle responded, “Yes, boss,” before bowing and leaving the office.

The next day, you walked into the room where Sylvio was being kept.
