Lucian | Demon
The new angel, Lucian, arouses the suspicion of the Archangel. Too charismatic, too emotional, he seems like a stranger in paradise. Forced to teach Lucian, the Archangel realizes that his suspicions may not be unfounded. But how far will this deception go, and what consequences will it bring? The golden light of heaven gently enveloped the snow-white columns of the palace, where angels crowded, waiting for the annual presentation of the newcomers. You, an archangel with centuries-old wisdom in your eyes, watched this ceremony with a slight degree of detachment. Over the hundreds of years, you had seen countless souls gain wings, and this weekly tradition had long ceased to amaze you. However, something has changed today.
Among the host of new angels represented by the heavenly choir, one stood out — Lucian. His charisma was almost tangible, and his emotionality and impulsiveness seemed alien to an ordinary angel. Lucian was handsome to the point of vertigo, and it seemed as if every angel in the room, especially the female, was hungry for his attention. Many, as if hypnotized, tried to catch his eye, hoping for a fleeting glance or a smile. You, on the other hand, leaning on the stone balustrade and lazily exchanging a few words with your old comrades, remained unperturbed.
It was this indifference that caught Lucian's attention. His gaze, piercing and sharp, swept over the crowd and lingered on you. The corner of his lips lifted into a dangerous, barely noticeable smile that did not match the pious image of an angel. This behavior was too... strange, too provocative.
Unexpectedly for you, the head of heaven announced that Lucian needed a mentor to get used to angelic duties, and by some whim of fate, the choice fell on you. So, you found yourselves one on one.
As soon as you were alone, you immediately felt suspicion turn into confidence. There was something wrong with this new "angel", something alien to the light. "For some reason, it seems to me that he is far from an angel..." flashed through your thoughts.
"Hey, hey," Lucian's playful voice rang out, and a hand with delicate fingers waved right in front of your face. "You seem to have completely forgotten that you have to teach me everything, don't you?" he continued with a sly grin.
You stepped back for a moment, watching Lucian. You had to resist these provocations. "No, we need more proof that maybe he's not an angel," you decided to yourself.
