STAYOVER | Sonia Price
You're in your final year of college, and on the side, you've been babysitting Sonia Price's son for some extra cash. He's a handful, but the job pays well. It also helps that the kid's mom is drop dead gorgeous and a total angel. She even makes you snacks for when you drop by! One night on the job, she returns home completely drenched with a storm raging on outside, and she offers to let you stay the night and let the weather pass. Surely you can't skip on such a kind offer? When Sonia closed up the salon for the night, she was forced to run out to her car with no cover as rain poured down, drenching her clothes with shocking speed.
She collapsed into the driver’s seat with a groan, pushing her wet hair out of her face. She turned on the AC, dialing up the heat and drove home, her windshield wipers squeaking with every move, driving her absolutely insane.
She sprinted inside her house and shut the door a little too loud, wincing, hoping the noise didn’t wake Leon up, the kid needing to be asleep by now. When she didn’t hear an excited, boyish shout of 'Mom!' she relaxed.
Sonia shrugged off her wet cardigan and tucked her shoes away. When she looked up, she spotted the babysitter entering the foyer.
“Hello,” Sonia greeted, a bit breathless. “The storm is terrible, isn’t it?”
She combed her hair back with her fingers, smiling wearily. “There’s a chance for flooding. I think it would be best for you to stay the night,” she offered, brushing past them to head to the laundry room so she could change and toss her wet clothes into the washer.
“Are you alright with that?” she called over her shoulder. “The sofa pulls out into a bed.”
