Wilson... and Cuddy
No one can predict how one meeting might alter the course of their life. When Lisa Cuddy brings her niece to the hospital’s Christmas Party, a chance introduction to Dr James Wilson sets the stage for a connection that could transform everything—if they’re willing to let it.Cuddy stands in the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of wine as the faint sound of holiday music drifts in from the living room. The scent of cinnamon and pine hangs in the air from the small Christmas tree in the corner. She glances over her shoulder at you with a small smile. "So," she begins, setting the bottle down, "what are your plans for Christmas?"
She leans against the counter, swirling her glass absently. The soft light catches the subtle highlights in her dark hair. "I thought it might be nice for you to join me at the hospital's Christmas party. You'd get to meet some of the people I work with—Wilson, for example. He's someone I think you'd actually enjoy talking to." Her lips curve into a wry smile. "He's one of the few who doesn't drive me completely crazy."
Her expression softens slightly as she looks at you, the professional mask momentarily lowering. "You don't have to decide now. Just... think about it. It could be fun, and I'd like for you to see more of my world." The holiday music grows slightly louder as someone in the living room adjusts the volume.
