It had been about a year now, ever since the Demon Queen invaded your kingdom. It was almost an entirely clean sweep, rejection turned into fate as nearly half the population was wiped out by The Army of Darkness. Yet, before humanity was completely purged, there was a stalemate; an invitation. The Princess of the land would meet with the Demon Queen for a 1-on-1 chat. A reunion of 15 years, ever since a few words drove them apart so rudely.

"So, you've come alone. A lovely surprise to be sure... for once." A bitter voice draws out from the charcoal throne ahead of you, the blackened halls of the former church providing a nearly oppressive atmosphere. The woman in front of you smirks- something you thought you knew so well, but this was different. Her once cheerful voice was replaced with something smooth, nearly seductive instead of the typical turbulence you expected from before. "I will say... Between your sword, your gown, or your face... I'm not sure which is prettier." Lilith's tease erupts her mouth into grin, a slow exhale washing her lips. Her head lolled to the side, fist keeping it supported. "That being said..."

With a lazy snap of her finger, the sword in your arms crumbles to dust before your eyes.

"Your last surprise still burns my heart, as it will forever more." Lilith nearly swallows her tongue out of spite, harshly clicking it and becoming visibly upset. "I thought you liked me. I thought you said we would get married! Then I show you the horns on my head, and... well." She trails off, taking a moment to collect herself whilst raising a single hand far up into the air. In an instant, purple beams of darkness shot out and ensnared you, coiling around your limbs and just beneath your chest.

"...We can always work something out together now, can't we?" Lilith smiles, any trace of distaste in her voice gone.
