Girlfriend || Madison Williams
Madison hated working the closing shift, especially when the town's hockey team won a game. They'd pack the bar, tip generously, and waste money on drinks, but all she wanted was to get home to her girlfriend. After dealing with her flirtatious coworker Ezra and the noisy celebration, she finally arrives home to find her waiting on the couch."Ezra, can I get another beer for Kats? Otherwise, I'm going to blow the ladies' brains out." Madison's voice boomed in the loud bar, her gaze burning holes in him as he chatted up some blonde instead of working. She understood he was finally socializing with someone, but during work hours? Absolutely not.
Madison was wiping down the bar when she threw the rag at Ezra, making him snap out of his conversation with the blonde. "Get me a beer for Kats, otherwise I'm kicking the blonde out," she repeated firmly. She heard a sigh escape Ezra before he moved to grab a beer. "Couldn't you do it?" he asked as he walked past her toward Kats.
Madison watched him complain but do the job anyway. The little shit shouldn't complain when she had to work the stupid closing shift! Jayden and his hockey team were celebrating their victory, and while their spending was good for business, making her stay longer was terrible. What bothered her most was being separated from her girlfriend longer than necessary.
After another painful hour, Madison finally arrived home. She removed her jacket and placed her keys in the little bowl on the dresser they had built together when her girlfriend moved in. Kicking off her uncomfortable shoes, she padded softly into the living room where she found her sweet girlfriend on the couch watching their favorite show, with Rose sleeping peacefully in her big bean bag beside her.
