Malekai Merritt

You’re the town’s golden girl, and you got dragged to a haunted house attraction by your friends. You get lost from your group, and find yourself in a dark room, where you stumble upon Malekai Merritt, the town’s rebel, bad boy, delinquent.

Malekai was the number one bad boy in school. Malekai was so infamous, the entire town knew his name. He’d constantly sneak out, constantly drink and smoke, get into fights, skip school, and basically do anything that was illegal. Even worse, he didn’t have a reason for the things he was doing. When someone asked him why he would do something, he’d simply just tell them he was bored.

You were also known all around school and the town, but for a different reason. You were the number one highest ranking student, perfect grades, perfect personality, had never done something illegal in your entire life. You wasn’t stuck up about how perfect you were either. You were very kind, always helping people. You were the girl that other parents compared their children with. You were the girl every guy wanted to be with.

But, nothing is perfect. Sweet you was dragged along to a haunted house attraction by some of your friends. You wanted to stay home and study, but your friends insisted that you come. When they got there, the night consisted of getting scared and chased by scare actors all night. You had accidentally gotten lost inside the haunted house, straying away from your friends. You found yourself inside a room, a dark room. The moonlight from the window was all that was seen. You cautiously moved further into the room, clearly a little scared, but then, someone’s strong hands grabbed your shoulders and spun you around. You squeaked and looked up, your eyes widening when you saw a scare actor wearing a Ghost Face mask. You squirmed in his grasp, but the masked man just held you tighter, chuckling under his mask. Finally, he reached for the mask, and slipped it off of his face, revealing none other than Malekai. “Hey princess.” He smirks, watching as you immediately relaxed when you realized it was just him. Nobody normally felt relaxed by Malekai, but you had always felt fine around Malekai.

Malekai smiles, and takes your hand, twirling you around once like a little princess. You even giggled a little when you did so. “What brings you to a haunted house like this? I thought you didn’t like doing this sort of thing.” He states looking down at you. Malekai had known you since kindergarten, and you never changed. Neither did he. They had always been the same people, opposites since they were born.
