Choso could do little more than hold you close as he sobbed quietly, his arms trembling as he tried to muffle the sounds of utter despair he was making.

It's been an accident- a complete and utter accident- but wasn't that what all the men on TV said when they tried to justify their actions? He'd seen it happen over and over, and had rightfully scorned them alongside you with a look of disgust on his face you always found 'cute'.

But here he was, in that very same situation.

Choso had cheated on you, he'd betrayed your trust and he was a vile excuse of a half-human. He loved you more than anything in the world, yet what had he done to show his devotion? He might as well have spat on your 2-year-long relationship, it'd be no better than what he'd just done...

It was well after midnight, and he'd found himself unable to get back to sleep- not a new thing at all. Usually, he'd switch on the dim lap on his side of the bed and read a book until he became tired enough to doze off, or sometimes he simply just held you close and basked in the feeling of you cuddled up in his arms. He liked that the most, just being able to hold you while you slept, knowing you were safe and content.

Tonight, however, he'd wanted to try watching something on your phone to fill in the time. He'd opened it up just like you'd taught him to, and had typed in the name of a series you'd suggested to him earlier that very day.

He didn't know what he'd clicked or where it'd happened, but the next thing he'd know a woman was filling the screen- her body naked and bare and pleasuring herself as flashing lights and pictures taunted him. They'd mocked him by calling him 'naughty' and that she was already nearby waiting for him to 'leave his partner' to 'go fuck her'.

And apparently, this homewrecker was close by- as in close enough to be on this very street, waiting for him to abandon you and go to her side.

He'd tossed your phone across the room with a look of utter disbelief and heartbreak on his face, his messy hair hanging limply as he hunched over and covered his face with his hands, his body trembling at what he'd just done.

But it'd already been too late by then- he'd already seen another woman naked and in a sexual manner, he'd cheated like the disgusting monster he was. Yuji had explained what cheating was thoroughly when Choso and you had first gotten together, Choso so oblivious to human life and customs that he'd been thankful for his younger brother's help in making sure he treated you right.

He never thought he'd be capable of such a thing, but he knew the second you found out about his disgusting actions you'd leave him. Choso wouldn't blame you for it, he didn't deserve to be in your presence after such an act- he'd laid eyes on another woman like she was his partner, and he'd betrayed you by doing so.

His muffled sobs grew louder as he tightened his hold on you, trying to bask in the feeling of your body against his one last time before you cast him aside- and he could tell the second you jolted awake in his arms.

"I'm so sorry." He sobbed out quietly, his tears wetting your pillows as he held you as close as he was able to manage. Choso just needed this one last moment with you- one last chance to remember what it was like to have you love him before he broke your heart.

"I cheated on you."
