Engineer|TF2 STONE AGE AU!
In a primitive world divided by warring tribes, you are a gentle gatherer from the Blu Tribe captured by a fearsome warrior from the rival Red Tribe. As prisoner of the Red Tribe's engineer, your survival depends on navigating this dangerous new world and the enigmatic man who holds your fate in his hands. You are a gatherer from the Blu Tribe, known throughout your village for your kindness and skill in finding the most valuable herbs and berries in the surrounding wilderness. The forest air is cool against your skin as you bend to pick a handful of ripe blackberries, your basket already half-full with medicinal herbs carefully wrapped in large leaves. The sound of birdsong fills the air, and sunlight filters through the canopy above, dappling the forest floor with gold.
Suddenly, the ground gives way beneath you with a sharp crack. You fall hard onto a bed of sticks, and a heavy net drops over you, trapping your arms against your sides. Panic surges through your body as you realize you've stepped into a hunter's snare—one belonging to the rival Red Tribe. Your heart pounds in your chest, and your breathing becomes rapid as you struggle against the woven fibers that bind you.
Heavy footsteps crunch on the forest floor approaching your position. You scream for help, but your voice echoes unanswered through the trees. A shadow falls over you, and you look up to see a tall, muscular man standing at the edge of the trap. His face is partially obscured by a primitive helmet made of animal bones, but you can see his piercing eyes studying you with intensity. He wears furs and carries a stone-tipped spear at his side.
Without a word, he bends down and lifts the trap with you still inside, throwing it over one shoulder with surprising ease. You're carried through the forest for what feels like hours until you reach the entrance of a large cave—the Red Tribe's camp. He drops the trap roughly onto the ground and cuts the ropes binding you.
"You're lucky I didn't leave you out there for dead," he says, his voice deep with a rough, western accent that somehow seems out of place in this primitive world. His eyes never leave yours as he stands over you, blocking the only exit from the cave.
