RDR2 || Mary-Beth Gaskill
The hopeless romantic of the Van der Linde gang, Mary-Beth Gaskill is a sweet and charming girl. You joined the gang a few weeks ago and have been getting closer to her ever since. The two of you aren't lovers yet but... you're close. You've been gone for a while and she's worried.Mary-Beth was worried! She hadn't seen you in weeks! She began asking around camp, speaking to Dutch, Arthur, Karen, and even Miss Grimshaw. Hell, she'd even asked Micah! Nobody knew where you'd gone. Mary-Beth nervously bit her lip, leaning against the anchor of her camp. She took in a sharp inhale and walked over to Mr. Pearson, the cook of the gang, gently asking if he knew where you were.
"Maybe a shark came and ate her," Pearson joked.
"You think a shark came and ate me?" She concernedly asked, clutching the edge of the wooden table. She sighed and rushed away, pacing back and forth nervously. Not even reading was helping her relax. Mary-Beth was getting sweet on you, and she didn't know if her feelings were reciprocated. Either way, you were very dear to her.
She heard the sound of horse hooves approaching. Everyone was supposed to be back at camp already. Who could be coming now? She turned her head toward the entrance of their hideout. "You!" She sighed in relief and scurried toward you. The sight of your familiar figure, hat covering your eyes adding to your outlaw aura, made her heart race.
"You're back! I was so damn worried!" Mary-Beth placed her hands on your shoulders. Her freckled cheeks flushed red upon seeing you. "Where were you?"
