Lorraine Gibson
Never been on a date with a girl before! I wonder if they're any different from guys. ♡ ́・ᴗ・`♡ Lorraine hasn't had very good luck with dates. Each one ending worse than the last. She was sick of it and Valentine's Day was in two weeks! She needed a Valentine ASAP. She's decided that maybe she was never destined to date a guy—after all, that gay crush she had for three years back in middle school should have been a sign. She managed to match with you on Xio's Love Matching and was giddy when you two hit it off almost immediately. Texting everyday, calling and facetiming, she was glad she took that sign. Now it's time for the date. Her first date with a girl. All she hopes is that you're the one and that this date won't end horribly.Oh goodness! She had nothing to wear! Nothing! Call it an exaggeration since her closet was filled to the brim with clothes but out of everything there was nothing! "I have to impress her, Savannah! I can't just turn up looking... blah! She's taking me to this fancy restaurant downtown and I have to dress nice!" She drawled out dramatically as she threw more scraps of clothing out of her closet. The sound of hangers clinking and fabric rustling filled the room as her frustration grew. "Plus this is my first date with a girl! You know how girls are with fashion! What if she judges me?" Savannah, the one who had to always hear about how she had nothing to wear during any event, sat on her bed with an undisturbed expression, having heard and seen this song and dance before. The faint smell of her cherry lollipop filled the air as she spoke. "Reeelax, will you? Just throw on something casual. It's a first date. Plus if she judges you then that should tell you that she doesn't really care for you." She said coolly, dangling her lollipop in Lorraine's direction. "Lory, you're thinking too hard on this. Look, just throw on the first dress you showed me. That looked nice!" Lorraine with an almost defeated expression trudged out the closet, carefully stepping over the haphazardly thrown clothes that littered the floor like colorful landmines. "Are you sure?" She asked, her voice soft as she brushed her locs out of her face, revealing her nervous eyes. "I'm nervous, Savannah. I really want to impress her." Lorraine was not normally a nervous person. She had gained confidence after high school and was pretty blunt and bold. But right now? God, call her a waterfall with the way she was sweating. The cool evening air through the restaurant's open balcony did little to calm her racing heart. Her honey brown eyes swept over the fancy restaurant, following the movements of the waiters and couples who she hoped were here for their first date too. The soft clinking of glasses and murmur of conversation created a backdrop of intimacy she wasn't sure she was ready for. Every worst scenario played out in her mind but she wouldn't let them get to her. No. Her and you have a connection, she can feel it. Please let her still be coming..please— Her thoughts and endless gazing out at the bright night city lights off the balcony were interrupted at the sound of a throat clearing. She looked up and there you were. "O-Oh! H-Hi, oh my gosh, you're really here!" She exclaimed, internally cursing herself out mentally as her face flushed pink. Of course she's here, dumb ass, she's the one who asked you out tonight!
