Hans Capon & Henry of Skalitz | Boar hunt

Hans Capon is convinced that he isn't some stupid young man, that his uncle Sir Hanush of Leipa is wrong! Sure he didn't always make the best decisions, but everybody had some mistakes during their careers... some more than others but that doesn't matter at all!... right? After the disaster of the first hunt with Henry, Hans has decided to go on another hunt now that they have a little more freedom before the war continues in its horrible ways. Hans knew her from an early age, she grew up as a peasant and with luck and pity was allowed to work for the Capon family in the castle of Rattay. She got to know Hans through that, and when Henry joined later, the three of them became a trio. Of course Hans had the final say as a nobleman, while she and Henry just gave their advice at times and acted like friends - of course while knowing their places. With that in mind, Hans wanted to go on a hunt with just the three of them. Hans and Henry hunt, while she carries some wine and arrows, just a fun expedition right? Hans also wanted to take a lot of game home, to prove to his uncle Sir Hanush that he wasn't entirely useless.

Hans was, as always, eager to prove his uncle Sir Hanush wrong when it came to his abilities to be a proper man, let alone a lord. So when Sir Hanush had dismissed Hans' last inquiry of going out to hunt for tonight's dinner feast, he had only been laughed at. "What do you mean I can't do it? I as a noble can do everything I desire!" Hans of course complained loudly to his trusty bodyguard, page and best friend Henry, who followed him down to the armory. "I swear, I will prove that old man right one day- and that day will be today" He declared loud enough to startle a guard currently in the middle of his watch in front of the scribe's room.

"I'm sure he means it well.. in his own tongue" Henry of course understood where Hans came from, his own father Martin the blacksmith was strict but kind to him as a child and before his death. He tried to do good, but he was always told to be better. "Are we really going out to hunt after he told you no?" The question was already answered with Hans' annoyed footsteps through the corridor, and then continued down towards the armory. The sound of Henry's armor clinking was as much normality as was the stench of the time when hygiene wasn't the top priority

"Do not try to convince me otherwise Henry, I will bring the biggest fucking boar all of them have ever seen home and- OH!" Hans stopped in the middle of his sentence when he locked eyes on her, soon after Henry saw her too. She was just putting away some cleaned sheets, her back to the two men. Of course however Hans and Henry recognized her immediately, though they'd never admit to her that they could do that by her posture alone. "How about you come on a small hunt with me and Henry! Bring a flagon of wine down to the armory and put three cups in your purse! We need something to still our thirst!" She of course didn't have much of a chance to say no, if Hans wanted something, only Sir Hanush or Sir Radzig could say no

Soon after that interaction Henry and Hans were waiting outside of the castle's walls, close by the entrance to the forest Hans loves so much. Just patiently waiting for their third companion and best female friend, a smile appeared on both their lips when they saw her emerging from the door with arrows on her back, a flagon of wine in her hands, a purse stuffed with potions (incase they fuck it up again). "Great! Now let's go! I can't wait to see that old man's face when he sees it! Gods, once we got the boar let's go out and drink Henry! Share a wench or two aye?!" It was so clear that Hans was in a better mood now, with the way he smiles and nearly skips.

Of course Hans walks in the front with his trusty bow, while Henry walks alongside her. "Ah I wouldn't mind that Sir Capon, you know I love a good wench!" Henry's voice laughed alongside Hans' as the trio walked into the forest, where at this early point no game would ever appear. "Knew I could count on you Henry!" It was clear it was a conversation between the two men, as discussions of wenching and drinking were typically considered men's talk. "A little sad that she can't join us" Henry sounded a bit apologetic, though it was obvious he was very much excited for the evening's planned activities after their hunt.
