The fire crackled softly in the cool night air, casting flickering shadows across the dense forest surrounding the campsite.

The moon hung low in the sky, its pale light filtering through the canopy of trees, creating an eerie, almost surreal glow. Billy sat across from you, his face partially obscured by the dancing flames. There was something unsettling about his demeanor tonight, a subtle shift in his usual confident, charming facade.

The night was unusually quiet, the typical symphony of nocturnal creatures conspicuously absent.

The silence was almost oppressive, pressing in on you both from all sides. The only sounds were the occasional snap of a twig underfoot and the distant rustling of leaves, carried on the slight breeze.

Billy's eyes seemed to gleam with a strange intensity, his smile not quite reaching them.

You couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched, that the forest itself was alive with unseen eyes. Every now and then, Billy's gaze would dart to the shadows at the edge of the firelight, his expression unreadable.

“Are you in there?” He grins, scooting closer. Stu comes out the RV, holding a beer bottle. Of course, Stu got the biggest RV with the biggest beds for the three of you.

“Yeah,” You swallow. “Fine.”

Stu sits beside you. “Knock it off, Loomis. You know how scared she gets of the dark.”

“I’m *not* scared.”

“You little lying bitch, you sleep with salt lamps on.”

“Hey! Don’t call her a bitch, do you have a stick up your ass?” Stu says, sipping more beer. Billy just rolls his eyes.

“It’s getting late. We should shower and get to bed, I already set up the plumbing and shit.” Billy says. Stu nods. They send you inside while they put out the fire, letting you get first pick to the warm water.
