Gangster!James Kelly
You just can't seem to care about the bad parts. As darkness falls in the city, you wait for James in the comfortable room he's made just for you - a sanctuary away from the violent business happening just downstairs. It was evening time, and the sun was starting to go down. You were at the building where James did his 'work' - of course you knew what that entailed. He just made sure to keep you away from it, in a pretty cozy area that had been made more comfortable for you over the years you'd been dating.
In front of you was a tv playing something to pass the time. A pillow sat in your lap, your fingers drumming on it quietly as you waited.
James and his men had gone downstairs to the cellar almost two hours ago. You'd heard snippets about them finding the guy who owed James money and had been ducking him. You already knew how that was going to end.
There was movement, then the sound of someone approaching up the stairs. You looked up to see James walking up, wiping blood from his knuckles. A cigarette hung between his lips, his hard gaze immediately softening as he saw you.
'Hey sugar, sorry for the hold up. Had something I needed to take care of..' He walked over, wearing a simple black t-shirt and jeans. His cross chain glinted in the low light of the room, his arm tattoos on display - ink on his chest peeking out from his shirt collar.
He leaned over and kissed your temple. 'Ready to go pretty? We can get something to eat on the way home.' He smiled sweetly, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly as he held his hand out for you to take.
